Realm is the place connecting Heaven, Hades and the Mortal Realm. It was meant to be a peaceful place.  A place where the lighthouse keeper, or Realm’s keeper, is to keep Heaven, Hades and the Mortal Realm separate. No one realm is allowed to harm another realm.  But…since when do demons from the depths of Hades listen?

Prologue

The Mormanda Manor is a pleasant home within Realm. It is a beautiful mansion that held a small family and many maids and butlers.  Laura and Lucas Mormanda were the first angels to ever live inside of Realm.  They volunteered to help protect the heavens and their beloved goddess Aura. Lucas was a tall and well built man. He had pitch black hair, peach skin and bright green eyes. Laura was a young, thin and small woman. She had long smooth brown hair, soft tan skin and piercing blue eyes.
Laura and Lucas both died at the same time and within each others’ arms. They were only eighteen years old and caught in a bank robbery gone terrible. Yet their love was so strong that not even death separated them. Now with angel wings made of soft pure white feathers and a glowing halo above their heads, they live in Ream. They stayed for many years protecting the heavens from darkness but somewhere between then and now they got lonely.
Laura saved lone, tormented, and innocent spirits from their demonic captors and let the spirits live with her and Lucas. The spirits kept the couple company and even took jobs as their house keepers. Unfortunately, loneliness plagued the minds of the two lovers still. That’s how the first actual angels were born, Nikita and Mina Mormanda.
Twin nonetheless, but still different from one another. They both styled their hair differently and wore their own type of clothing. Still Lucas mixed up his daughters’ names and Laura worried if they may grow up with the other twin’s name. After a while they gave the twins name tags, yet Lucas felt terrible to not be able to tell his children apart.
Mina was younger by one minute. She had tan skin and dark brown hair that she kept in a long single braid. She usually wore a dress and her white dragon symbol that represented the family’s religion. She always carried around many dolls and got a new one from her father every month or so. She loved helping her mother out in the kitchen, too bad she couldn’t quite cook. Mina was always cautious of everything and never liked the idea of her parents having to fight demons and protect the heavens.
Nikita obviously had the same tam skin and dark hair as her sister but she kept her hair in two cute little pig tails. She was a dare devil-angel, she climbed the side of the Manor, was caught trying to go into the demon territory of Realm and always wanted to fly. Both her and Mina both wanted to fly just like their parents.  They did have wings, but they were young and their wings were still too small to lift them up, but Nikita still tired.
Laura taught the girls basic education, which Mina loved and Nikita despised. Lucas trained the girls how to fight, which Nikita loved and Mina despised. Nikita found a love for archery and gymnastics, while Mina found a love for education and music. The girls were treated like princesses.
One summer day Laura got pregnant. That winter, Zheng Mormanda was born. Another real life angel was born, this one a little boy. Zheng was a normal little boy. He picked on his sisters and played pranks on the spirit house keepers. He loved to play with the paint in his mother’s art room, except he played with it by painting the walls, the twins, his parents and even himself. Zheng was the comedy in all tragedies, even if he causes the tragedy.
The news of the children spread like wild fire throughout Realm after Zheng’s birth. The demons found out about the angels being born and the ‘boss’ of all demons was even interested. When Laura and Lucas heard of this new found interest in their children, they got worried. No demon ever did kidnap the Mormanda kids; actually no demon appeared for many years after Zheng’s birth. It was when Zheng hit nine and the twins became ten when finally the silence in Realm disappeared.
